How the Idea Sparked

This tour was inspired by one of my closest friends, the owner of Indus Restaurant in Windhoek. She introduced me to the richness of Indian cuisine and was also the person who took me to watch live cricket for the very first time — an unforgettable experience that sparked this idea.

Together, we wanted to create a journey where guests who love Indian food, cultural comfort, and cricket can explore Namibia with confidence. A specialised chef from Indus Restaurant will accompany the tour, preparing authentic Indian and halal-friendly meals throughout your safari — bringing a true taste of home to the heart of Africa.

Please note: International flights and Cricket World Cup match tickets are not included, allowing you the flexibility to arrange your preferred travel and match schedule independently.

10 Days: Windhoek - Windhoek

  • Windhoek ICC World Cup 2027

    Day 1: Windhoek

    Arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport, and be picked up and greeted by your guide, Colandri. You will then return to Windhoek, check into your accomodation and freshen up before we depart on a Windhoek City Tour. End the day with dinner at Indus Restaurant.

    Day 2: Sossusvlei

    Depart after breakfast towards the Namib Desert. Do a short hike in the Naukluft Mountains before checking into your lodge.

    The chef will prepare dinner in our mobile kitchen, and we will have a group dinner under the stars.

    Activies: 6km easy hike in the Naulkuft

    Accomodation: Tsaugab River Lodge or Soft Adventure Camp

    Day 3: Sossusvlei

    Today we will do a very ealy departure to Sossuvlei where we will hike up the dunes during the cool morning hours. Afterwards we will enjoy a big picnic breakfast prepared by our chef in the middle of the desert.

    Later we will visit the Sesriem Canyon before returning to the lodge for lunch & rest before dinner.

    Activies: Full day Explore Sossusvlei, Deadvlei & Sesriem Canyon

    Day 4: Swakopmund

    Today we will enjoy a relaxed breakfast before departing to the coastal town, Swakopmund. It will be a scenic journey with a few stops at iconic landmarks along the way.

    In the afternoon you can enjoy exploring the town at your own pace. Later we will meet for dinner, prepared by our chef.

    Day 5: Swakopmund

    After an early breakfast, everyone will be picked up for their optional activities (which your guide will help you book ahead of time).

    Optional Activities - Living Desert Tour, Catamaran Tour, 4×4 Dune Tour, Kayaking with Seals, Paragliding, Scenic Flights and many more!

    Return from your activities for lunch, and once again enjoy the afternoon at leisure before dinner.

  • Safari Tours during the ICC world cup 2027 Namibia

    Day 6: Etosha National Park

    Enjoy an early morning breakfast before departing towards Etosha National Park where we will stay for the next two nights.

    As we enter Etosha, we will enjoy lunch prepared by our chef at a picnic spot in the park, before setting off for safari again.

    Check into our lodge inside the national park. The lodge waterhole is very active in the evenings - enjoy the live show while your chef prepares dinner.

    Day 7: Etosha National Park

    Enjoy an early morning safari while your chef prepares breakfast at the lodge. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast threre will be an optional late morning safari for those who wants to. Return to the lodge for lunch and a midday rest.

    Set out again for a late afternoon safari with your guide & Return to the lodge for dinner

    Day 8: Waterberg Plataue

    Enjoy a final morning safari in Etosha before we depart south towards the Waterberg Plataue. A significant geological and historical area in Namibia.

    We will stop for a picnic brunch prepared by our chef somewhere along the way.

    In the afternoon we will visit a grave site from the Herero-German Genocide.

    Day 9: Waterberg Plataue

    While your chef prepares breakfast at the lodge, you will enjoy an exhillirating morning tracking white rhinos on foot with the lodge rangers.

    Return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out.

    Then depart to the Waterberg and start driving to Hosea Kutako International Airport for your departure flights.
